NEW RELEASE

ETERNAL TAPES IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE RELEASE OF:

TEENYBOPPER ~ PERVERTS - ET02

Re-issued from the original SOLD OUT cd-r on ACCRETION DISK. . .Jeremy Nissan (Yellow Tears, Halflings, et al.) brings us a truly personal, horrifying masterpiece known only as Perverts. We feel that he is in top form on this one and stress that it is an essential purchase for any followers of disgusting, harsh, classic, vocal-driven power electronic insanity! The re-issue includes a bonus track from the same session, as well as a b-side of new garbage from the dark caverns of 'bopper's fucked mind. This cassette is in an edition of 50 copies, never to be re-pressed. They all come with a heavy-duty color insert and are hand-numbered. Get it while it lasts!!

Daniel Carter & Evan Louison
God's Faithless Bride
Pilate Navigator PN-05
CD-R

Massive new duo exchange in an edition of only 25 copies between free thinker Daniel Carter on flute, trumpet, alto, tenor and singing and Evan Louison (Extremis, Pilate Navigator et al) on percussion, singing and dancing. A very psychedelic, primitive free jazz set from these two after the tectonic Industrial force of their Extremis date, this one matches very hypnotic slow-motion whirls of drone and throat juggling with psychoactive percussion, an almost Bill Dixon-esque feel for the orchestral implications of wide-open space and some very satisfying urban sound squall that touches on some of the actions of the Meehan/Shiraishi crew. Complex, puzzling, primeval, this is highly recommended. - David Keenan

PILATE NAVIGATOR ~ present:

“No Questions/No Answers” ~ CDR 2006 PN01
nine songs. recorded in squalid tenement
in bedford-stuyvesant, brooklyn.

sounds of stupid teenage sex, cellular gossip,
masculine muggings,
ghetto bravado,
sewage pipes bursting, seeping in.

SOUND CLIP: hallways/closets/longshifts

ships at storm/don't leave

"...piano, guitar, oud, strings, computer, voice and accidental percussion recorded live in his room in a series of jams that sound like Sandy Bull leisurely stretching the parameters of form while the city burns all around him. Edition of 25 copies." -from Volcanic Tongue

“Education = Debt” ~ CDR 2006 PN02
(with 15 person ensemble, recording of
05/05/06 performance)
four new songs. 15 person onslaught
in various incarnation.

baptism/confirmation/rebirth pries last scent
& confidence,
last hope for learning from
children's hands. they sing & play,

in response, calling it back.

SOUND CLIP: education = debt (or, "after sleeping off the worry, the prince returns to his planet")

"New big band death-country blues and free improvisation from another group featuring Evan Louison (Extremis/Daniel Carter Duo et al) on his own label. A lone guitar that's as broken-down and beautifully slurred as Syd Barrett circa "Golden Hair" or early Royal Trux fronts beams of drone, clatters of percussion, horns and a huzz of nocturnal sound that pulses in huge throbbing waves before spilling into a froth of beautiful songforms. Sounds somewhere between one of those Louisville big bands featuring Kris Abplanalp, the whole K-Salvatore/Egypt Is The Magic # axis and Little Huey plays the songs of Nels Cline and Diamanda Galas with a line-up drawn solely from ex-members of HNAS, Charalambides and Maher Shalal Has Baz. Edition of 25 copies." - from Volcanic Tongue

THE BRIDGE ITSELF "44:04” ~ CDR 2006 PN03
(metal & wood percussion/voice/winds)
two magnificent souls collide in a vacant
farm structure,
in an empty yard, on the verge
of autumn.
the house next door burnt down
recently,
an american flag was the only thing
that remained hanging.

SOUND CLIP: The Bridge Itself

"Another new one from Evan Louison's great US imprint,
Pilate Navigator, the same outfit that brought us the
excellent Extremis side. This one pairs Louison with
Geoffrey Wilson in a duo improvisation scored for metal
and wood percussion, voice and horns and recorded inside
a huge disused silo in Tivoli, NY. Map points would
include NCCK action ritual, Kuwayama-Kijima's subterranean
soundings, Chie Mukai's solo manifestations, Folkways
urban/environmental sound recordings, Faust's "Signal
Calls In The Desert" and an imaginary Fag Tapes/Xpressway
joint live happening. Excellent stuff, edition of only
25 copies in hand made packaging." - from Volcanic Tongue

EXTREMIS ~ "courtesan" ~ 30:52 CDR 2007 PN04
(daniel carter/evan louison/
ryan naideau/jeremy nissan)
night moves in pantherhythms.
slotted & lost, thunder, lightning, disaster.
god words = thrown down.
SOUND CLIP: Courtesan

"Fantastic out of nowhere no wave/free jazz/
Industrial pile-up action moves from a new NY-based
label/cabal that pairs free reedist Daniel Carter
(Test et al) with post-Mars/Sharrock/
Red Transistor/Blue Humans bass, guitar and drums
courtesy of Evan Louison, Jeremy Nissan and Ryan Naideau.
Waves of cold illuminated steel pulse with alla
the sci-fi threat of early Chrome with Carter ripping
metallic reports from his horn as feedback explodes in
sharp whipcracks. Something about the cracked high tones
on this one that is uniquely paint-peeling, while Carter’s
great distorto-blues work keeps the human heart beating
deep in the guts of the machine. Comes packaged in a DVD
case with art paper sleeve and insert. Recommended."

ETERNAL TAPES ~ present/future:

MENDICANT FRIENDS ~“Bed of Rocks”~ CS2007 ET01
-reissue; formerly ASC06-
words, drums, guitars.
last of five
extended play song collections
under this title. songs about:

phone calls from ghosts,
120 days in sodom,
smoking
& quitting smoking.

SOUND CLIP: Daughter
"Hand-numbered edition of 50 from this early Evan Louison-related (Extremis et al) project with a cool more song-based Yah Ho Wha/Endless Boogie feel, Southern dirge-riffs, female vox and the kinda drugged rockin' feel that might have flowered somewhere in a mountain commune circa 1971 if Wayne Rogers and Kate Biggar hadda been conducting jam sessions with the inmates after spinning em Neil Young, Canned Heat and some nascent prog beardisms." - Volcanic Tongue
